These Vegan Sour Cream & Onion Loaded Potato Bites combine roasted mini potatoes with a creamy dairy-free topping and crunchy Community Snacks Sour Cream & Onion kettle chips for extra flavor and texture.
They’re a crowd-pleasing appetizer, game day snack, or easy plant-based side dish.
Ingredients
For the potatoes
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the vegan sour cream topping
- ½ cup vegan sour cream (such as cashew or coconut based)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
- 1 tbsp finely chopped green onion
For topping
- 1 cup Community Snacks Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips, lightly crushed
- Extra chopped chives
- Fresh cracked pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes until crispy and golden.
- In a small bowl, mix the vegan sour cream, lemon juice, chives, and green onion.
- Once the potatoes are roasted, place them on a serving platter and add a spoonful of the vegan sour cream mixture on each potato.
- Sprinkle crushed Sour Cream & Onion chips over the top for extra crunch.
- Garnish with additional chives and serve warm.
