These Vegan Sour Cream & Onion Loaded Potato Bites combine roasted mini potatoes with a creamy dairy-free topping and crunchy Community Snacks Sour Cream & Onion kettle chips for extra flavor and texture.

They’re a crowd-pleasing appetizer, game day snack, or easy plant-based side dish.

Ingredients

For the potatoes

  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the vegan sour cream topping

  • ½ cup vegan sour cream (such as cashew or coconut based)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped green onion

For topping

  • 1 cup Community Snacks Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips, lightly crushed
  • Extra chopped chives
  • Fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes until crispy and golden.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the vegan sour cream, lemon juice, chives, and green onion.
  5. Once the potatoes are roasted, place them on a serving platter and add a spoonful of the vegan sour cream mixture on each potato.
  6. Sprinkle crushed Sour Cream & Onion chips over the top for extra crunch.
  7. Garnish with additional chives and serve warm.

Snack Tip

For extra flavor, add diced avocado or a drizzle of hot sauce.
